Aligning HR Processes 5: Organizational design and change

Working with managers, align structure, roles and key processes with strategy

Develop and implement changes in organization structure, work design, team management (e.g., self-managed teams), and organizational communications

Lead/support process reengineering, continuous quality improvement, and other processes for increasing organizational performance

On-the-Job

Participate in a current quality or reengineering project in another functional area to gain experience in approaches and techniques Study alternative organizational designs through reading business journals and networking with other companies to determine what works and does not work Clarify responsibilities for communication among line managers, the communications function and human resources
